// Places / My career has been based in the Northeast, from New York to Vermont. It’s been a great launch point for working with clients and new business all over the country.
// Taking the lead / My approach as a Creative Director/Art Director is to be the person who’s there to help the team be better. It’s my job to be their partner, find their strengths and offer my experience so we make things better than ever.
// "One of the good guys" / A junior designer I mentored had succeeded in following his dream to work in Hollywood. Later, he reached out to let me know I’d helped him become more confident and think bigger. He said, “You’re one of the good guys. Thank you,” That means as much as any award I could receive.
// Clients / I think clients look to us for leadership. When presenting work, I make sure to know what I’m talking about and respect who I’m talking to. Being confident in the ideas really comes across to them. And it’s OK to have fun showing the work.
// Keeping ahead / In the digital space, I have to stay on top of the newest, biggest, baddest things. I look for brilliant work, creative blogs, pop-culture memes and social media streams from friends and colleagues. Working with an incredible creative team is also inspiring because we learn from each and build breakthrough integrated solutions.
// Free Time / I’m addicted to finding the latest time-shredding apps, watching questionable Sci-Fi movies and TV and occasionally exploring the mysteries of isolation tank floating.
